Close Embrace style: Tango and Milonga This class has its emphasis on learning the close embrace style of dancing tango. We will concentrate on refining the posture and connection so that dancing in this manner becomes smooth and comfortable. Walking technique and musicality are at the core of this course, thus we will teach milonga along with tango so that you can learn the different attitudes while dancing these two different dances.
Booking as a couple is preferable as for the aims of this course swapping partners frequently is not ideal. If you book with a partner you can mostly work with a person you like dancing with. People booking as Single will be partnered with other singles. Nevertheless, we will still change partners occasionally for learning purposes.
You may come to this class even if you have no/little experience of tango but you need to book as a couple and be able to practice either at home or by coming along to the Saturday practica at Notre Dame.
If you have any inquiries about the content of the class contact Sari tel. 079628 65324, e-mail: sari_lievonen@hotmail.com
